Richard Pollock, President: Next Generation Advertising, LLC was founded by Richard Pollock, an Emmy award-winning producer from ABC's Good Morning America. He has been involved in network television, public relations, and advertising for 30 years. At ABC he covered the White House, Congress and the Pentagon. Mr. Pollock covered three U.S. Presidents. He later was the senior producer of Fox News Sunday. While executive vice president of Shandwick Public Affairs, a global public relations firm, he counseled CEOs, presidents, and senior executives at Northrop Grumman, Monsanto, the Scotts Company and the Ford Motor Company/Venezuela. In 2004, he left his position as vice president for communications at the Cato Institute to set up Next Generation. He has been published in the New York Times and Washington Post, and has appeared on many television news shows, including CBS "60 Minutes," ABC "20/20" and the PBS program "The MacNeil-Lehrer Show."
Matt Gottshalk, Producer: Matt has 14 years experience in visual media - from film/video commercials to motion graphic design. His clients have included advertising agencies and public relations firms, and federal and state government agencies. He has produced videos for both political parties, and the Baltimore Ravens football team. Matt's approach to editing and animation has resulted in numerous television industry awards, including several Telly's and a Silver Award from the Houston Film Festival.
Heidi Hanson, Producer: Produces natural history documentaries and news programming that air on the major networks and cable outlets, including ABC, Outdoor Life Network, Discovery-Europe, and MTV. She is currently the supervising producer of Chefs A’ Field. Heidi has worked as a field producer throughout North America and overseas.
Jim Hodge, Editor: Jim has been editing and producing video for 15 years. He has edited long-form documentaries, broadcast television series, and corporate programs for clients such as Miramax Films, Discovery Channel, The History Channel, PBS, NBC-TV, ExxonMobil, World Wildlife Fund, Computer Sciences Corporation, Library of Congress, The Kennedy Center and the National Library of Medicine.
Amanda Larsen, Graphic Designer: Amanda is an award-winning freelance design consultant who specializes in publication and print design. Her love of art can be traced back to elementary school when she first designed and illustrated her class history and science reports. With a B.A. in English and a M.A. in Publications Design, she has developed diverse skills in magazine and book design, product development, and marketing/advertising copywriting.
Bill O'Connor, Voice Talent: For more than 25 years, Bill O’Connor’s voice has served as the voice for commercials for IBM, AT&T, Exxon, Discovery Channel, PBS, National Geographic and other firms.
Irene Owsley, Photographer: Irene settled in Aspen, Colorado, where she was so inspired by the mountain environment that she took up photography. She worked at the Cincinnati Art Museum, then moved to Washington, D.C. to work for the Smithsonian Institution. Irene’s career as a photographer has ranged from travel articles -- as author and photographer-- for The Boston Globe and The Washington Post, to adventures “off the beaten path” where exploration is as much a state of mind as a location. Irene is drawn to explore northern extremes – Iceland, Greenland, Alaska and Arctic Canada – a passion that has expanded her library of stock images for publication, but Irene also strives to examine the territory of human character through portraits, events, and the challenge of everyday subjects.
Ingrid Sanden, Web Writer: Ingrid has more than a decade of writing experience. About five years ago she turned her talents to the web. She works extensively in website design, writing, and architechture.. Her writing has appeared in national and regional newspapers and websites including the Minneapolis Star-Tribune and the award-winning website of the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy. She has a BA in journalism and political science from the University of Minnesota.
Randy Santos, Photographer: Randy Santos is a highly skilled commercial photographer based in Washington, D.C. For the past 24 years, he has been providing a variety of national and international clients with creative photography of consistent, superior quality. Randy worked frequently at the White House, Capitol Hill, and throughout the Washington D.C. metropolitan area for major corporations, advertising agencies and national trade associations. In 1987, Randy founded his own commercial studio, Randolph Photography.
Chris Warner, Producer: Produces documentaries and news magazine segments for ESPN, Outdoor Life Network, PBS, and the major television networks. He is currently the executive producer of the award-winning PBS series Chefs A’ Field. Before moving to Washington, D.C. in 1992, he spent time in New York as an independent filmmaker working at Global Village. He has produced features for CNN in Atlanta and news stories for the CBS affiliate in Seattle.
